This video is over 20 minutes long and usually I wouldn’t touch a tutorial video that’s this long but there wasn’t a single second where I didn’t learn something valuable. You were so insightful and it means a lot to have someone who thinks through these things and tries to really teach and i appreciate that. You deserve every like and every subscription and I hope you become the main youtuber when it comes to learning.
man I never thought I’d ever care about IVs until I unlocked the judge button. now I feel like I want to get the best shinies, battle other trainers with them, and then fail miserably by someone spamming minimize
The dude that you get the shiny charm from also gives you a catching charm if you haven’t completed your Pokédex. It increases the chance of getting a critical catch. 🙂
I really appreciate all the hard work you put into explaining these features a year ago I would have barely understood any of this but because of your content I’m able to enjoy post game content much more
So I’ve been shiny breeding Eevee and Sobble for a good while now, I keep the females for surprise trading and release the males as they’re much more common. Females are more desirable in surprise/wonder trading right?
The best way to get a foreign ditto: go find some friends who play a different language version game, SR for a ditto with high IVs, then battle it with your foreign friends, then trade your ditto with each other
After an amazingly fun 160 hours in game. I’ve settled down and focused. I’ve completed my DeX. Got all items in this video and more. Organized my boxes. Nature Synchronize Raltz etc! Time to start making some battle ready shiny mons! Thanks to your channel for aiding me along the way man. Props to your hard work! You have an army behind you you my friend!
Amazing video. You literally answered any possible question I could have. Extremely thorough and I love that. Sometimes I watch a video and have many questions left over. Not for this video. Keep up the awesome work!
this is how you get lucky egg:
travel to Hulbury and talk to the chef behind the counter at the Seafood Restaurant. He will give you three errands to run. The third will reward you with a Lucky Egg. Maybe you have to progress in story during errands. I did it after story.
Hey! I’m new to competitive pokemon and this video has helped me out SO much with trying to navigate the competitive pokemon scene! Thank you SO much! 😀 I’m now well on my way to putting together a team (though I dont know if itll be any good) and I cant wait!
One question I do have, now that I’ve got the pokemon I want with the abilities, IVs and natures I’m after, how do I train them up, are EVs still a thing? What are they? I’ve tried to do some research and I have read all about them being limited (?) and only certain pokemon should be fought (?) and I also wondered how this all works with the new exp share feature. Do all my pokemon gain the same extra EVs from fought pokemon?
Once again, thank you for the videos. I’m following your buglocke and it’s great! Thank you!
Always never understood that: ability capsules change normal abilities, or hidden abilities to normal but not normal to hidden…
In other words we will let you have your one ability that you can’t cap but don’t worry you can change pick up (a non combat ability) to frisk which tells you an item, which generally can be guessed anyway so also useless – all this for 100 BP which takes you hours and hours of play to achieve per capsule
So glad I watched this video. Almost wasted precisely bottle caps thinking I would use them to improve a Pokémon I wanted to use in breeding thinking that those improved stats would be passed down. Haven’t heard this important information being mentioned in most other videos or articles on breeding. Thanks!
