NEW UPDATED VIDEO COMING!
SIMPLY DEFEAT 500 POKEMON, no COMBO NEEDED.
Just defeat 500 of the same species, run away after that. Simple as that.
Defeating does help spawn more though.
This video isn’t wrong, just not as efficient as it could be!
I can almost confirm, leaving the route and entering buildings like the poke center does NOT break the chain. Got my shiny zigzagoon after 700 and it was immediately after healing my Pokémon.
Does this work in the wild area? I’m aware that early on in the game those high level Pokémon are impossible to be shiny, but since I already beat that game and can catch any level of Pokémon , can they be shiny now?
I got my shiny Wooloo after 295 encounters! I’m so happy because I was prepared to wait well past 1000 because I’m not a lucky person. I’m naming him Tilly after my cat who has the same black and white colors. =^.^=
I was getting my first Riolu via breeding and it came out yellow. I think something is wrong with it.
I had to get the second egg for it to be normal.
I caught a shiny wooloo before I got my first badge. I was just battling them because they were the best source of xp at that stage in the game, I don’t know how many I had battled but it couldn’t have been more than 50-100
Hey adrive I have 7 shinies that I found under 700 knocked and in my experience I think leaving the route will ruin your chain although in my hunt I never left the route so I might be Wrong but it might be the same as the dexnav
I just recently got Shiny Arrukuda at 502 knocks I did not leave the route to heal up my Pokémon to the Pokémon center all I did was make my grass Pokémon eldegoss re learn the tm in my bag magical leaf over an over again which made it so I never have to heal my pp up… note that in all my 502 encounters I only encounter 6 different Pokémon all in that hunt so still not sure about encountering another Pokémon will ruin the chain or not
But anyways really nice video keep it up 💕
Could it be that the combo increases the chance of one appearing after battling one? so the number battled determines the shiny chance, and the combo percentage is the chance for one to appear after defeating one?
In my early game I was in the wilds like when your 1st get in there. There was a Stuffle one that I wanted to catch and train. Was wanting to find one with a good nature so I was going to grind catching them. On my 2nd encounter BOOM shiny Stuffle.
Hey aDrive, after i saw your video i jumped back into hunting my shiny Weezing. Bevor i caught it after 319 encounters i run away from a non chained species so i think this doesnt break the chain for 100%!! Also I think this Shiny hunt method is only with Shiny Charm a good thing
If I keep hunting Braviary I’ll keep resetting my clock to May 1. There’s Beaviarys everywhere on the other side of Lake of Outrage then. I have to heal though because the level 60 Braviarys take chunks out of mine.
I was looking for a Wooloo, my chain was at 25 with Wooloo, number of battles was at 130 and I ran into everything, eventually I ran into a shiny Rookidee. The chain seems to work for all Pokémon encounters like Lets Go.
Hey adrive, you probably already know this, but I just learned that flash fire increases the chance you run into fire types, which should help you get your shiny sizzlipede, good luck with your hunting
